Gardener - Full Time

Job Summary:

Individuals assigned to the Gardener position are responsible for providing on-going landscape maintenance for the Disneyland® Resort properties and completing work in a safe and efficient manner.

Basic Qualifications:


Schedule Availability
  • Availability to work Sunday through Saturday, any shift (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift) including holidays, and must be open to any days off
Qualifications
  • Previous experience performing daily and routine landscape maintenance including, but not limited to soil and planter preparation, planting, spent-flower removal, pruning, monitoring general plant health and proper irrigation.
  • Casual gardening and maintenance for neighbors or one’s own home yard is not sufficient.


Additional Information:

This posting is seeking to fill multiple roles in California.
- The pay rate for this Hotels Landscape Gardener role is $18.95 per hour.
- The pay rate for this Parks Gardener role is $22.35 to $30.20 per hour

The base pay actually offered follows the pay scale agreed upon in the Collective Bargaining Agreement and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.

Those assigned to the Gardener position are required to attend an annual Hearing Conservation Training class. They are also required to submit to an annual audiometric exam.

SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year; Shifts may start as early as 6:00 AM, while some may end as late as 5:00 AM.
This roles is Full Time and requires full availability, including working evenings, weekends and holidays when needed.
