Hotel Room Service - Part Time

Job Summary:

Do you want to be part of a dynamic team at the Disneyland Resort Hotels? Our Hotel Room Service Cast Members are focused on providing the ultimate level of personalized in-room dining for Guests staying at the Disneyland Resort Hotels. Room Service Cast Members will be interacting with Hotel Guests by taking orders over the phone, assisting Guests with amenity planning, and delivering food orders to Guest rooms. This role does require working morning, afternoon and late night shifts.

Responsibilities:

Cashier

  • Takes Guests’ orders over the phone.
  • Assists Guests with amenity planning.
  • Frequently sits in one position for up to two hours at a time.
  • Strong Computer skills and knowledge are required.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of phone calls.

Server

  • Reads receipts and prepares the order for the Guests.
  • Ensures that the food presentation is fresh and up to quality standards.
  • Delivers orders to Guest rooms.
  • Responsible for the sanitation and cleanliness of the area.
  • Some bending and lifting is required. Servers walk non-stop for duration of their shift.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have strong communication skills, specifically over the phone (Cashier).
  • Strong computer skills, able to work within a technical environment (Cashier).
  • Must have strong cash handling skills (Cashier).
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous hotel room service experience

  • Previous call center experience (Cashier)

  • Previous food serving knowledge/experience (Server)

  • Alcohol Awareness Training (i.e. RVP, TIPS or equivalent)

  • Previous work experience in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment

  • Experience multi-tasking

SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays and special events.
