The Revenue Management and Analytics (RM&A) team supports clients across Walt Disney Parks & Resorts including Ticketing, Resorts, Merchandise and Food & Beverage in the core competencies of yield management, revenue planning, forecasting, pricing, promotions and optimization. Candidates should have a natural curiosity to understand the "why" behind business performance, take a proactive role in problem-solving, be results oriented, be able to prioritize and be a team player in a collaborative environment.

This position will drive Disneyland Resort (DLR) attendance/admissions revenue and related metrics for the long-term monthly forecasts and annual operating plan.

Your Role:
  • Perform forecasting, reporting, and analysis of Disneyland Resort attendance and admissions revenue ensuring the forecast is aligned with current and future initiatives and that business objectives are met
  • Develop and maintain forecasting models, using historical data as well as mathematical and statistical techniques, to drive insights and recommend future attendance and revenue levels as well as continuous improvement opportunities
  • Provide objective and analytical insights on key metrics, strategic initiatives, competitive/ industry factors, and performance drivers
  • Partner with Pricing, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to understand new initiatives, ensure forecasts/plans include all relevant information, and help influence decision making
  • Analyze variances and evaluate trends to identify potential exposures and upsides to the plan
  • Conduct measurement to understand revenue and attendance impacts and evaluate new business opportunities

What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Data Mining or a quantitative field
  • Minimum three years statistical, financial, or strategic development analysis experience
  • Knowledge of forecasting and modeling
  • Proficiency in acquiring, organizing, cleansing and manipulating large amounts of data with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including VBA, and SQL
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to simplify complex analytics into recommendations that are easily understood and executable
  • Demonstrated natural curiosity to understand business performance and the “why” behind business results
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a positive demeanor
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and perform job responsibilities accurately with minimal supervision

How To Stand Out:
  • Master’s degree in a quantitative field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Walt Disney Parks & Resorts operations, business units, and product offerings
  • Knowledge of revenue management and analytics
  • Understanding of visitation metrics and revenue drivers
  • Proven experience with and strong understanding of advanced analytical methods
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data management using SQL, MS Access, SPSS, and SAS
  • Advanced SQL skills including the ability to write complex queries
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau
