Responsibilities:

Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting voice telecommunication systems along with Wi-Fi and TIMELOX equipment and associated devices and cabling

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for phones and associated devices including moves, installs, disconnects and troubleshooting of voice systems.
  • Responsible for installation, troubleshooting and maintaining TIMELOX and Wi-Fi equipment.
  • Responsible for installation, troubleshooting and maintaining CAT5, CAT6 station cable and copper cable plant.
  • Understand and actively participate in Safety practices by following established WDW policy and procedures.
  • Monitor power plant equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management or lead technician.

Basic Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty independently, with minimal oversight, to industry and Company standards and expectations. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities needed:

  • Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience required in the telephony field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of voice systems.
  • Avaya Red/Nortel/Cisco and associated peripheral equipment experience preferred.
  • Outstanding attendance is a must.
  • Regularly use a company vehicle.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Have a valid Florida state driver's license.
  • Understand the department is operational 24/7/365.
  • Willing and able to work various shifts and overtime when required.Proficiency with Microsoft products

Required Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Education:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent is preferred.
