Job Summary:From The Flower and Garden Festival to The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival and special events the whole year round, there's always something to celebrate at the Walt Disney World® Resort. Convention Guides are responsible for meeting, greeting, and directing guests to various locations throughout the Walt Disney World® Resort. This is a Seasonal role that requires full availability from mid August 2018 through the mid November 2018.
Food & Beverage Quick Service Festivals Hosts and Hostesses roles receive a starting rate of $10.15/ hour.
Responsibilities:Cast members in Quick Service Food & Beverage work in fast-paced environments at either counter service or outdoor vending locations. Responsibilities may include taking orders, operating a point-of-sale system (POS register), cash handling, fulfilling orders, food preparation, bussing, general cleaning, stocking items and keeping inventory. Cast members at all of the Quick Service locations, either indoors or outdoors, also interact with guests every day by sharing information, answering questions and providing great guest service!
- You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role.
- This role requires cash handling.
- This is a Seasonal role that requires full availability from mid August 2018 through the mid November 2018.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Previous cashier experience.
- Previous quick service or related restaurant industry experience.
- Full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays is preferred.
Additional Information:SCHEDULE AVAILABILTY Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
