Be part of a unique experience, as we offer our Guests individualized travel assistance throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. Minnie Van service is a new whimsical way for our Guests to go where ever they want at the Walt Disney World Resort-always accompanied by a friendly smile. We are recruiting for a Ride Service Associate, that will be expected to deliver exceptional on-demand service to our Guests, while transporting them from door-to-door or point-to-point within our resort and theme park locations utilizing the Lyft app.

As you transport these individuals or small groups of Guests, you will also be expected to provide information about the advanced technology features of the vehicle you are operating, which may include electric vehicles, as well as respond to any questions about this new, unique service offering. Additionally, you will immerse the Guests in their surroundings by providing information about our property and, if needed, provide basic Guest recovery related to their vacation experience.

The Ride Service Associate is an hourly role and is eligible to receive an hourly rate, as well as discretionary tips from Guests.


This role will require transporting Guest across WDW property from select Resorts to locations of their choice while engaging and interacting with Guest during the trip. Safe operation of the vehicle, ensuring the safety of the passengers is critical. Maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle during shift is required to ensure a show ready ride experience.

Basic Qualifications:

  • One year Walt Disney World experience
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have 3-year valid US driver's license with current Florida license
  • Must have a clear driving record
  • Must be receptive to random drug and alcohol testing
  • May be subject to a background check (e.g., fingerprint, driving assessment, etc.)
  • Must be comfortable driving various sizes of vehicles in the fleet, up to and including a 15 passenger van
  • Must be willing and able to work in and operate a company vehicle under inclement weather, including minimal lighting
  • Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Requires sporadic heavy lifting and bending regarding handling items up to 50lbs (e.g., personal items, baggage, car seats, etc.)
  • Ability to operate ADA equipment to assist our guest with disabilities
  • Ability to be flexible with work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have full availability for first two weeks of training
  • Must successfully complete various training standards from practice, observation, and learning assessments
  • Ability to work independently and to multi-task
  • Proven ability to utilize touch screen technology (e.g. smart phone applications)
  • Demonstrated follow-through skills with multiple levels of the organization
  • Strong Guest service, problem solving, and decision making skills
  • Demonstrated fluency in English
  • This role is Part-Time and requires full availability for any shift, a MINIMUM of two (2) or three (3) days per week, including nights and holidays. Weekend availability preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to resolve guest issues and concerns directly or through engaging the right partners
  • Proficient at storytelling and high level of Cast to Guest engagement
  • Strong working knowledge of WDW & Company services and products
  • Multilingual skills desired

Required Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
