BUSINESS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Fast-paced Occupational Health Clinic environment. Highly collegial, cooperative team management setting requiring close cooperation, intra-team consistency, and frequent communication.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
Working conditions require frequent walking, standing, sitting, and light lifting throughout the shift. Occasional overtime and alternate shift-work may be required. Will be required to work weekends and Holidays based on business dynamics and/or requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provides nursing assessment and recommendations to Cast Members related to the illness or injury resulting in an initial determination of occupational versus non-occupational mechanism of injury or illness.
  • Document and Maintain records related to the treatment of Cast Members in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety Administration
  • Interact with Workers’ Compensation, Safety, and the Company Physician/Provider to facilitate processing of work-related illnesses or injuries.
  • Performs regulatory required medical surveillance as indicated by current Occupational Health and Safety Administration standards
  • Perform medical treatment in accordance with training and licensure
  • Completes all documentation and quality checks to reduce chance of omission or errors
  • Participate in Resort Health and Safety Programs

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Nursing
  • Current Florida RN Licensure
  • Minimum 3+ years Registered Nurse Experience
  • Prior experience in working with EMR or Health Management System
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Program Suite
  • Prior Experience in fast-pace medical office, clinic or similar environment
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain medical confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN | COHN-S)
  • Masters Degree in Nursing

Required Education

  • Bachelor Degree in Nursing
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License

Preferred Education

  • Masters Degree in Nursing
  • Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN | COHN-S)
