Provide primary technical oversight and direction for the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of all laundry processing equipment.

Responsibilities

Accountable for safety, reliability, availability and performance of plant systems, as well as provide leadership to approximately 15-20 craft workers. Strive to achieve a high level of teamwork and cooperation within the craft team by allowing them to exercise their creative abilities in troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of the facilities and equipment.

Basic Qualifications

Technical proficiency in several of the following areas: Mechanical, Electrical controls, Electronic
controls, PLC controls, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Steam systems and Thermal Fluid systems
  • Proven experience in fast-paced production environment
  • Proven experience in successful team building
  • Proven decision making skills
  • Demonstrated strong customer service skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency with Word and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience in the commercial laundry industry
  • Proven knowledge of MAXIMO and SAP
  • Proven experience leading union labor
  • Proven experience automating processes
  • Multilingual: English and one of the following; Spanish, French, Haitian Creole
  • or Vietnamese

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
