The Specialist, HRIS provides analytical and technical support to the Human Resources Line of Business (LOB) in pursuit of business initiatives and other HRIS-related responsibilities. This includes but is not limited to: ensuring data accuracy in administration of personnel data in compliance with Human Resources policies, guidelines and laws; providing analytical reporting support; providing HRIS technical support to Human Resources and other partners in managing the HR Employee Life Events (ELE) module.


  • Perform daily cast movement process
  • Execute regular HR Reporting to HRIS partners
  • Implement SAP & corresponding HRIS systems security functions, such as audits, issues resolution, testing and consultation. Including collaboration with headquarter HRIS partners
  • Document & update corresponding procedures for HRIS daily operation with end-to-end flow in regular basis
  • Assess new growth and continuous process improvement opportunities for HKDL to include the evaluation of current state of business processes, development of future state design, quantification and presentation of opportunities to add value
  • Assist in leading the human resources projects in streamlining processes for the optimal effectiveness and efficiency

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree holder in Information Systems or related discipline
  • Over 3 years of experience in IT or HRIS areas
  • Working knowledge of SAP HCM preferred
  • Experience of Cognos BI or other BI reporting tools is an advantage
  • Good understanding of business practices in the HR functional area and the way it is translated in SAP modules and other systems
  • Ability to translate business requirements into clear workflows of systems
  • Strong in problem solving, planning, driving for results and analytical skills. A lateral thinker with a creative mind and dynamic attitude
  • Detail Oriented. Capacity to learn and investigate transverse business flows
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, work well with people at different levels. Flexible to work cross culturally
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
