The Walt Disney World Resort invites you to be our Guest and explore maintenance role opportunities at our upcoming Job Fair on 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Come talk with our recruitment team and learn more about our FOS Maintenance Teams whom provide excellent service and support to all of Walt Disney World! This event is open to the public and will focus on finding talent for maintenance roles. Qualified candidates will have the opportunity to apply and interview on site. Some candidates may even be hired on-the-spot!

Roles may include:
The Area Mechanic-Electrician is more than just a modern day Ironman of electricity. They respond to power outages, work on rewiring equipment, run conduit for fixtures, respond to trouble tickets, inspect electrical components, and install or rewire lighting. The Area Mechanic- Electrician is expected to bend electrical conduit and install various types of electrical raceways. They have experience working with VFDs and voltage up to 480v.
Area Ride & Show Technician (Electronic Tech)
The Area Ride and Show Technician is more than just a modern day electronic technician. They respond to power outages, work with the newest in animation and electronic technology. They respond to trouble tickets within a theme park setting. The Area Ride and Show Technician is expected to have a working knowledge of various electrical and electronic devices, audio and video, projection, along with troubleshooting equipment. They should have experience working with PLCs, VFDs and voltage up to 600v.
Full Time requires full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Most maintenance roles start above $25.00/hourly.

Preferred Qualifications:Area Mechanic- Electrician
- Experience with PLCs, relay logic and kitchen equipment
- Journeyman license
- Master Electrician license
- Familiarity with National Electrical code
- Journeyman license
- Experience working on/around high-efficiency equipment (i.e. Lasers, Xenon Lamps)
- Experience with animation troubleshooting and repair
- Ride-control systems troubleshooting and repair
- Knowledge of theatrical lighting equipment
- Troubleshooting and repairing RF circuits, power supplies, computer-circuit cards
- An understanding of fiber optic network principles
- Knowledge of high and low voltage with an understanding of the National Electric Code
