Shanghai Disney Resort, the first Disney resort in mainland China, will be a place where friends and families can escape together to a whole new world of fantasy, imagination, creativity, and adventure. On opening day, the resort will be home to the Shanghai Disneyland theme park, two themed hotels – Shanghai Disneyland Hotel and Toy Story Hotel, Disneytown, a large shopping, dining and entertainment venue, a Broadway-style theatre, a Wishing Star Park and other outdoor recreation areas. Shanghai Disneyland will be a Magic Kingdom-style theme park featuring classic Disney storytelling and characters but with authentic cultural touches and themes tailored specifically for the people of China. As we create this magical destination, we’re looking for a variety of world-class professionals including front line Cast Members and an innovative development team to help our plans take shape.
Shanghai Disney Resort is seeking exceptional talent to manage Party/Union/Youth League affairs to facilitate the stable operation and healthy development of the resort. Under the leadership of the Secretary of the Party Committee, the Chairman of the Union, and the leader of the Youth League, the Party/Union/Youth League Office Manager shall enhance the contribution of the Party organization, the Union and the Youth League to the company. Competitive candidates will possess exceptional leadership skills, adequate knowledge in local laws and regulations and excellent communication skills.


Responsibilities

According to relevant laws and regulations and the uniqueness of Shanghai Disney Resort, theParty/Union/Youth League Office Manager shall establish the communication channel and keep it running smoothly within the Party, the Union and the Youth League organizations; shall strengthen the relationship between the Party members, Union members, and Youth League members; shall liaison with external organizations, so as to create a harmonious working environment and to promote the healthy development of the company. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Responsible for the daily management of the Party Committee/Union Office/Youth League Office
  • Participate in mediation in relation to labor disputes based on Labor Law, Trade Union Law, and other local laws and regulations
  • Promote knowledge, understanding, and compliance with regards to company policy and relevant employment laws through consulting, coaching, presentations, and training
  • Serve as the interface with employees when launching new policies impacting the rights and interests of the employees
  • Partner closely with Human Resources, Legal, Finance, Security and other related functional teams. Be a liaison with external organizations such as Shanghai Federation of Trade Unions, Shanghai Arbitration Commission, Shanghai Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau
  • Connect with upper level Party Committee, upper level Union, upper level Youth League, and other relevant government authorities
  • Responsible for recognitions and appreciations under Party hierarchy and Union hierarchy and Youth League hierarchy
  • Conduct disciplinary inspection and supervise anti-corruption within Party organization
  • Other work assigned by the Secretary of Party Committee, the Chairman of the Union, and the leader of the Youth League

Basic Qualifications

  • Proficiency in written, reading and spoken English and Mandarin
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Party Membership is required
  • 8 Years of experience in Party and Union affairs or HR or legal related activities for a large company
  • Proven strategic thinking, influencing skills and strategy development skills
  • Proven strong leadership skills with ability to create an environment that inspires creativity and innovation
  • Demonstrated ability to manage simultaneous priorities
  • Demonstrated ability of planning, training and presentation. Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a matrix organization; Willingness to work and integrate with multiple partners
  • Adequate knowledge in Party Constitution, Trade Union Law, Company Law etc., and in Human Resources related regulations, policies and practice
