The Pool Concierge team is responsible for providing exemplary Guest Service at the Hotels of the Disneyland® Resort! They play a crucial role in the resort’s goal of exceeding high Guest expectations by engaging with Guests, anticipating their needs, and providing a personalized experience.Responsibilities:
- Actively greet Guests as they enter the Pool area and assist in locating and setting up seating for them
- Promote teamwork and cultivate a harmonious working climate
- Recognize and address potential intoxicated or disorderly Guests
- Accurately handle and report employee Guest accidents
- Respond accurately to any hotel emergency or safety situation
- Maintain Pool area by aligning lounge chairs, filling water stations, picking up towels, replacing towels, etc.
- Focus on Guests as the top priority to be aware of their needs at all times and respond immediately to all requests
- Greet Cabana Guests upon arrival, escort to their Cabana, and notify the server
- Acts as a liaison between the Guests and any department necessary, Resort wide
- Assist with dining/event reservations, room readiness, sunglasses cleaning – passing of amenities – replenishing/straightening of towels etc.
- Maintain cleanliness and order of the Fitness Center
Basic Qualifications:
- You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
- Possess a positive, polished, outgoing, and friendly personality
- Strong technical abilities
- Ability to work cohesively with other Cast as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for serving others and proven problem-solving skills while maintaining professional etiquette
- Ability to partner efficiently with other operating departments
- Proven ability to prioritize and coordinate work assignments
- Be active in the role of safety and security. Be cognizant of all emergency-reporting procedures
- Ability to work a flexible work week including nights, weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of experience in a customer service or restaurant environment
Additional Information:
Our Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Scheduling will require availability to work weekends, holidays, and have a flexible schedule when business requires
