Hotel Coffee House Cashier – Part Time

Working in Food and Beverage at our Disneyland® Resort Hotels, you will have the opportunity to make lasting impressions in a fast-pace luxury hotel environment! You will complete multiple tasks, including but not limited to: taking orders, operating a point-of-sale system (POS register), cash handling, fulfilling orders, food preparation, bussing, general cleaning, stocking items, keeping inventory and preparing and serving an assortment of food and hot and cold beverages, espresso and specialty beverages. You will be answering questions, providing directions, event information, and other services to help create a magical experience for our Guests.



Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for greeting Guests and taking their order, entering into POS system and verifying order by repeating back to Guest
  • Prepare hot and cold beverages including coffee, espresso, tea, and blended beverages and serve them to Guests
  • Mix and serve alcoholic drinks, adhering to all safety and quality standards
  • Suggest additional items as appropriate
  • Receive and process payment
  • Provide quality beverages consistently by adhering to recipe and presentation standards
  • Operate espresso and coffee machines
  • Assemble and present orders to Guests according to recipe guidelines
  • Responsible for maintaining work area-restocking and cleaning
  • Ensure that food presentation is fresh and up to quality standards
  • Replenish food and other serving items as necessary

Basic Qualifications:

  • You must be at least 21 years of age to be considered for this role
  • 2+ Years experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • 1+ Year of experience as a barista or making specialty coffee beverages
  • Knowledge and understanding of safety and sanitation guidelines including temperature requirements
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Cash handling capabilities and be able to count back proper change
  • Ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility with scheduling, including working early morning shifts on weekdays and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ Year experience in a luxury hotel restaurant environment
  • Bartending experience
  • Alcohol Awareness Training (i.e. RVP, TIPS)

SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays and special events.
