As a F&B Concierge, you will provide exceptional Guest service to Guests of our concierge lounges at our Disneyland Resort Hotels by setting up buffets, bussing tables, disposing of trash, maintaining the cleanliness of all concierge lounge areas and transporting trays and dishes to the dish room.
Responsibilities:
- Share knowledge of food offerings, wines & spirits to Guests
- Provide over-the-top, personalized Guest service by anticipating Guests' needs and resolving any concerns efficiently and effectively
- Serve food and beverage to Guests in concierge lounge area, including alcoholic beverages
- Set-up and break-down continental breakfast items, afternoon snack items and pre-dinner appetizer/cocktail hour items
- Ensure that the food presentation is fresh and up to quality standards, practicing proper sanitation and HACCP procedures
- Buss tables, gather and transport dirty trays, silverware, and plates to the dish-washing area
- Stock the beverage station with ice, cups, carbonated beverage syrup, and beverages such as milk, juice and water
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of concierge lounge including sweeping, mopping, segregating and removing garbage
- Clean kitchen equipment including coffee and espresso machines
- Walk hotel floors to clear any Concierge lounge dishes left from Guests in the hallways
Basic Qualifications:
- You must be at least 21 years of age to be considered for this role
- 2+ years of work experience in an upscale table service and/or hotel restaurant
- Demonstrated excellent Guest service and service recovery skills with the ability to own and resolve Guest situations
- Ability to multi task and work in a very fast paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience working in a 4/5 Star hotel or resort
- Prior serving experience in a high-end restaurant
- Work experience in a concierge lounge or continental breakfast hour
- Ability to operate and clean an espresso machine
- ServSafe or RBS training
