Hotel Food & Beverage Non-Inventory Control Receiver - Part Time

Job Summary:

Our Hotel Non-Inventory Control Receivers play a significant role in supporting the Culinary teams at Hotel Fine Dining, Casual Restaurants, Banquets, and Special Events. They unload and distribute all food and non-food supplies to area locations, maintain and rotate stock, and clean and organize all storage and refrigeration areas. Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, check in, weigh, stack, and manually load and unload deliveries from trucks, trailers, and wagons
  • Distribute all food and non-food supplies to area locations
  • Assist Receiver (Inventory Control) in maintaining stock levels by dating, rotating, and properly storing food and non-food items, including liquor and wine
  • Clean, stock, and organize all storage, cooler, freezer, walk-in, storeroom, and back dock(s) areas
  • Assist in completing production and spoilage records as required
  • Utilize or operate receiving equipment (i.e. pallet jacks, rider pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.)
  • Ensure and confirm accuracy of deliveries by verifying packing slips to include weighing of products and quality compliance of all deliveries through verification, reconciliation, inspection, and adherence to food safety standards and HACCP
  • Fill requisitions from the areas and stock and deliver products
  • Physical demands include walking, standing, climbing tall ladders, and working at heights

Basic Qualifications:

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
  • Comfortable with prolonged standing for two to three hours at a time and heavy lifting/pushing of food product and supplies that may weigh 25 lbs or more
  • Ability to work in a high-volume environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual
  • Previous warehouse or inventory control experience
  • Experience in Food and Beverage and product knowledge
  • Full availability seven days a week year-round

SCHEDULE AVAILABILTY

Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 4:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. You may be scheduled an overnight shift. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.

The pay rate for this role in California is $20.50 per hour.
