In this role, we have an opportunity to engage with Guests to discover their shopping needs while working in a variety of retail locations throughout the Disneyland® Resort.Responsibilities:
A day in the life:
- Actively initiate engagement with Guests by asking open ended questions to discover their shopping needs
- Maintain Disney show standards by keeping the store neat and organized
- You are knowledgeable about the products we offer and share this information with Guests
- Create service solutions for the Guests with the product in the location and make additional product suggestions to satisfy the needs of the Guests.
- Process all transactions in a friendly and efficient manner using a point of sale system (POS Register) including; cash handling, counting money, making change and processing credit card payments
Basic Qualifications:
- You must be 18 years of age to be considered for this role
- Previous experience in a position with consistent cash handling
- Experience with a high level of Guest interaction in a very fast pace environment
- This role is Part Time and requires full availability from after 5pm Fri, all day Saturday and all day Sunday, including nights and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous retail or related sales experience, including cashier
Additional Information:
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
