Sales Cast Member Roles at the Morocco Pavilion at EPCOT

Job Summary:

We are looking for Sales Cast Members to support the Morocco Pavilion in World Showcase at EPCOT! Candidates must be able to authentically represent Morocco in culture, heritage, traditions, and language.

Every Guest looks for that perfect gift or souvenir to remember their time at the Walt Disney World Resort. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to engage with guests and work at several locations throughout property.

The pay rate for this role in Florida is $19.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional guest service and proactively engaging with guests, addressing needs, answering questions, giving directions, and other information about the theme park or surrounding areas while sharing your passion and knowledge of Disney Products
• Work between indoor and outdoor Merchandise kiosk locations with prolonged standing to perform and maintain crowd control during peak operational hours
• Process guest orders accurately through a point-of-sale system (POS register) including: cash handling, counting money, making change, and processing credit card transactions
• Receive inventory to include unboxing, tagging, and displaying items on various sales floor locations
• May perform Heart of House responsibilities which include: unload pallets with a pallet jack, forklift or other device to move inventory; stock replenishment from the pallets to the sales floor; coordinate the stockrooms; and support the overall function of their respective locations

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• MUST be able to demonstrate Cultural Authenticity pertaining to Morocco
• Cast Members will work with and around all foods and food allergens, including but not limited to beef, pork, poultry, fish, shellfish, gluten, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, egg and dairy products
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills
• Experience managing, prioritizing, and supporting multiple responsibilities efficiently
• Observational skills to identify Guest needs and ensure safety guidelines are being followed
• Understand and explain menu offerings to Guest and answer questions about the food products
• Follow all food safety regulatory requirements and company standards
• Partner with team to make adjustments for operational changes
• Passion for connecting with Guest and Cast Members from all lines of business to provide excellent service
• Operate mobile devices and other computer systems
• Physical role including heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, grasping, bending, twisting, standing & walking for extended periods, climbing, and kneeling
• Exposure to extreme temperatures, from high heat areas in the kitchen and outdoors, to cold areas in freezers and coolers
• Cast Members may be required to handle cleaning chemicals and supplies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual preferred
• Full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays is preferred
• Part-Time requires full availability for any shift, a MINIMUM of three (3) days per week, including nights and holidays

Additional Information:

SCHEDULE AVAILABILTY Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
