Our Food & Beverage Cast Members are the first Cast Members our Guests will see as they enter our table service dining location. They set the stage for their dining experience, and will greet and escort the Guests to their table. Beyond this, these Cast Members are integral in the running of the dining room, assisting with a wide variety of duties throughout the kitchen.This role requires high Guest engagement, problem solving, and critical thinking, all of which are imperative to your success.
The pay rate for this role in Florida is $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:
- We proactively greet Guests, manage seating charts, & resolve Guest situations in fast paced environments.
- We answer Guests questions regarding menu items and food products.
- We use PCs and tablets to navigate reservation and table management systems to check-in Guests and manage seating charts.
- We escort Guests to their seats, pulling out chairs and providing high chairs or booster when needed, and deliver and present menus.
- We complete opening and closing tasks, assist with bussing tables, pouring alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, run food and complete general cleaning.
- We handle cash and other forms of payment to assist other Cast Members.
- We play a vital role in upholding location theming by maintaining a role in the show.
- We work with and around all foods and food allergens, including but not limited to beef, pork, poultry, fish, shellfish, gluten, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, egg and dairy products.
- These Cast Members may work in our Room Service locations, assisting with taking orders for Guests staying at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, handling Cast and other forms of currency, and bussing room service trays in the halls.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills
- Operate mobile devices and other computer systems
- Ability to own and resolve Guest issues
- Able to understand and explain menu offerings to Guests and answer questions about the food products
- Observational skills to identify Guest needs and ensure safety guidelines are being followed
- Passion for connecting with Guests and Cast Members from all lines of business to provide excellent service to our Guests and Cast
- Physical role including lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, prolong standing and walking, including climbing stairs, in indoor and outdoor environment and all weather conditions
- Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required
- Cast Members may have exposure to food and beverage products
- Follow all food safety regulatory requirements and company standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual preferred
- Full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays is preferred
- Part-Time requires full availability for any shift, a MINIMUM of three (3) days per week, including nights and holidays
